Hi,

My name is Vince or as I call myself online, Vinman.  I am a 4th generation builder, and  am a soon to be retired professional carpenter/remodeler, with nearly 40 years of experience in residential construction. My eldest son John, is also a contractor, with over 15 years in the trades.

My experience runs from new residential construction-tract homes, custom homes and light commercial work, to remodeling on all types.

Later in life, I was an Inspector/ Construction Manager for a non-profit housing agency, a warranty service tech for a manufactured housing outfit, and an estimator/carpenter for my eldest son, who is also a contractor.

My heritage comes from a long line of family, in various positions in the construction business, dating back to the Pioneer Days.

An old adage I followed as does my son today,  is one we inherited from my father-his grandfather: “If you can’t do it right the first time, why bother!”
